About Wajid Khan’s familiy
Wajid Khan was a famous Indian music director and singer. He worked as a duo with his brother, Sajid Khan. He was born into a Muslim family. His father, Ustad Sharafat Ali Khan, is a popular tabla player. His grandfather is Ustad Abdul Latif Khan and his maternal grandfather, Ustad Faiyyaz Ahmed Khan is awarded by Padmashri. His uncle is Niaz Ahmed Khan was conferred with the Tansen award.
His elder brother, Sajid Khan is a famous Indian music director.
Wajid khan married Yashmin Khan in 2003. The couple have two children; A daughter and a son.

- Wajid made his debut in 1998 with Salman Khan’s film Pyar Kiya Se Darna Kya. Apart from this, he also composed Music for many Salman’s films with his brother Sajid like Tere Naam, Garv, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Saathi, Wanted, Veer, Dabangg, Dabangg 2.

Wajid khan’s Death Update
Wajid died on 1 June 2020 in Mumbai. Wajid was suffering from kidney disease. Recently he underwent kidney transplant.
According to some media sources, Wajid was also corona positive.
In an interview, noted Indian music composer Salim Merchant said,
He had many issues. He had kidney problems and had a transplant a while ago. But recently he came to know about the kidney Infection … He was on ventilator for the last four days, after his condition worsened.
Wajid Khan’s last work :
During the Corona Lockdown in 2020, Sajid-Wajid composed Salman Khan’s lockdown songs ‘Bhai Bhai’ and ‘Pyaar Karona’.
“Bhai Bhai” is also the last song composed by Wajid Khan.
His first and last song as music director was with Bollywood actor, Salman Khan.
