The final rites of veteran Tollywood actor and former Union minister U.V. Krishnam Raju will probably be carried out with state honours right here on Monday. Telangana Chief Minister Ok. Chandrasekhar Rao directed the officers to make preparations for Raju’s cremation with state honours. The Chief Minister requested Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar to make the mandatory preparations.

Raju, fashionable as ‘Insurgent Star’, died early Sunday at AIG Hospital right here. He was 83. The final rites will probably be carried out Monday afternoon at Maha Prasthanam in Jubilee Hills.
